Hi, I’m Charlotte and I’m a 20 year old photographer, blogger and poet based in both London and Portsmouth, England.
Photography has been my passion since I was young. I started as a landscape and natural world photographer but over time I gradually fell in love with portraiture.
I’ve been lucky enough to have visited places such as Mexico, Vietnam and Ghana. I love being able to share my experiences in these places with people through photography.
My favourite type of photography however is conceptual photography. I use both models and self portraiture to express a variety of things that I feel I can not communicate in any other way, for example mental health issues.
I am also in love with living a healthy lifestyle. I love cooking and making nutritious meals, as well as running and hitting the gym.
I set up this blog initially as a place to document my mental health. I am diagnosed with a very stigmatised condition named Borderline Personality Disorder/ Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder. It entails a long list of symptoms, such as suffering at the hands of my emotions which I feel stronger than I should do, having intense worries and fears of abandonment and for me, I also suffer with psychosis.
I wish to expand this blog to include other posts such as lifestyle, travel, photography, fitness and food. I look forward to seeing where this blog takes me, and I hope you, yes you, enjoy this journey with me.
